Miller played in Charlotte, NC over the Thanksgiving holidays in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge and went 1-1. The first game was versus a gritty Davidson Day where our tough defense held them in check as we won 47-37. Devon Anderson led all scorers with 15pts and 3 stl. The legend Michael Jordan was even in the stands to see the Miller Mavericks take the victory!
We followed up with our second game on the 26th versus The Rock out of Gainesville, Florida. Although we came out firing early, we came up short and lost 59-47. Andrew White had 12pts and Devon Anderson had 10pts. Even though we weren't excited about the outcome, we learned a great deal about how we must sustain for a full 32 minutes.
