1/24/2012 - The Mavericks came back to Alumni Gym and continued their perfect streak at home in Alumni Gym with a convincing victory over a disciplined, scrappy Liberty Christian squad. Devon Anderson led all scorers with 20 points, having 4 threes and dishing out a few assists as well. We had great production out of our juniors - especially Josh Majors, Grayson Gunner, Travis Hester, and our bigs as well. Markell Lodge showed a good deal of his athleticism near the end of the game with a couple sweet jams, including an alley-oop!
We look forward to carrying the momentum to Thursday, where we will face a highly regarded Virginia Episcopal School out of Lynchburg, VA who is coming off a recent victory over our rival Blue Ridge at home. It should be a great contest that you definitely don't want to miss!! We hope to come see you on Thursday, 1/26 at 7:30pm.
