  1. I think both videos have their strengths and weaknesses. I like the way that ScrimmagePlay's video provides a sense of the on-court intensity, and how it really gives you as a viewer the sense of the crowd's intensity.

With that said, I also like how the Miller-produced video allows the viewer to see more of the court, and the off-the-ball movement that goes into a play. Of course I also like how the highlights are limited to positive plays for Miller, and how there are more highlights.

If there was a way to get only positive plays for Miller, and a lot of them, and combine that with the on-court/crowd intensity, that'd be the ideal video in my opinion.

  2. Great ideas Ben! We have thought about finding ways to incorporate other cameras to get different angles and I think your points are good ones. We have put music on our highlights over the "crowd intensity" because sometimes it is distracting being at different volumes (crowd cheering sometimes and sometimes not), but all of these are great suggestions. Wish you could come out to Alumni Gym for our big game on 2/14 vs. Blue Ridge!

  3. Of course I would have to vote for the second one because Scrimmage play was late getting to the game and missed Andrew's HUGE first quarter. I don't think I have seen anyone score ALL the points for their team in a single quarter especially in that fashion - 21 points including 5 three pointers. ANDREW was AMAZING!!
